Today turned out to be a wash in terms of work progress. Nothing seemed to go right. I either left something at home, or a lab door was locked, or there was no distilled water... Whatever. I think the Lab Gods were hinting that I should take it easy today.
Sophie and I went birding at the Trincity Sewage Ponds. I saw one new bird: Yellow-chinned Spinetail. We also saw one caiman.
I have to step up my bird-watching. I still have a lot to go before I reach my goal. Good thing I'm going to Chacachacre Island this weekend. It's supposed to be a great site for shore birds.
Off to the TTSPCA tomorrow to collect samples and discuss action plans for Waterloo. Calling it an early night at 11:15.
