Perfect day for a beach lime with the pups! Meg, Dad, Sparky, the pups, and I headed to Mystery Beach for some fun in the sun. The rain that came down was a welcomed change from the heat and humidity we've been experiencing in T&T for the past few weeks. Mystery Beach was deserted as usual, but there were signs of life. Sea turtle tracks from the night before! There were also opened sea turtle eggs :-( I imagine that the dog that live in the beachfront properties are to blame for this. They can easily come down to the shore; I watched the do it during our trip.

Man oh man did the puppies and Sparky have a great time! The swam and splashed around in the river like they were at an amusement park! Sparky surprised me by swimming to Meg in the middle of the river. He was worn out after about half an hour, but Nita, Gita, and Zara still had a full tank of gas. They ran up and down the shore, chasing each other and running away from Dad when he scolded them for picking up stuff they shouldn't.

We left Mystery Beach around 1 so that Meg could grab a bark and shark on the way out. She loved it! We're off to Tobago by ferry! Should be a fun few days!

The pups enjoying a cool river bath.

They were all in the river at one point. Sparky was a little hesitant here.

Nita had a blast playing in the turtle spirals. Yes, sea turtles nest on Mystery Beach!
